Jennifer Lawrence, who was paid around $500,000 for the first “Hunger Games,” helped the film gross $683.8 million worldwide during spring of 2012.
Now, the Oscar-nominated, desires to have 20 times more money to shoot the sequel.
Did you see the preview for the House at the End of the Street during Snow White and The Huntsman? What do you think?
Men’s Health Magazine named their annual 101 Hottest Women of 2011 list this week and Jennifer Lawrence finished the list at No. 1.
Also making the list, at No. 32, was fellow Hunger Games star Elizabeth Banks.
Men’s Health mentioned Lawrence’s role in X-Men: First Class, making the same comment everyone made about Rebecca Romijn a decade ago, about remaining hot despite being painted from head to toe in blue paint for the role of Mystique. The 20-year old is moving quickly up the ranks in Hollywood since her breakout Oscar nominated performance in Winter’s Bone in 2010.
Congratulations Jennifer!
This Sunday, Hunger Games fans will get to see a clip of the upcoming file during MTV’s Video Music AWards.
Jennifer will introduce the clip, which will then be available on MTV.com.
The 28th annual VMA awards will air Sunday from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and performers include Adele, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, and Bruno Mars.
For all you fans who have read the book, you know what we mean by Rue’s Lullaby and the part in the book where Katniss Everdeen sings the song following a tragic turn in the plt.
According to T-Bone Burnett, not only was the Lullaby recorded for the movie, but Jennifer Lawrence actually sings it!
When asked about the new track, T-Bone Burnett said:
“Yeah, we did. And it was beautiful. She did great. She’s singing great. Killer actor too”

Jennifer Lawrence turns 21 years old today!
